Examination Pattern
This is to inform the Teachers about the Examination Pattern which is now being followed as under:
(1) Assessment for the Scholastic area will be done for the following subjects:
- Class L.K.G – English, Hindi, Math, EVS (Oral)
- Class H.K.G – English, Hindi, Math, EVS
- Classes I – III – English, Hindi, Math, GK, EVS, Computer
- Classes IV – V – English, Hindi, Math, GK, Science, S.S, Computer
- Classes VI –VIII – English, Hindi, Math, Science, S.S, Sanskrit, Computer
(2) The Exam Pattern:
For classes I – VIII: Total Marks=400
- 1st Formative : 50 Marks
- 2nd Formative: 50 Marks
- 1st Summative: 100 Marks
- Class Assessment: 50 Marks
- 3rd Formative: 50 Marks
- 2nd Summative: 100 Marks
- 1st Formative : 50 Marks
- 2nd Formative: 50 Marks
- 1st Summative: 100 Marks
- Class Assessment: 50 Marks
- 3rd Formative: 50 Marks
- 2nd Summative: 100 Marks
- There would be NO RETEST in any subject.
- If a student is absent he/she would be marked as Ab. And will get a ZERO (0 marks) in the respective subject.
- Medical leave would be marked as ML and the final grade would be calculated after deducting the marks of non-appearing subjects
Evaluation by Percentage (%) Method:

Promotion Policy Class I – VIII
- Overall performance is to be decided on the basis of achievement in the Scholastic as well as Co-Scholastic areas.
- Student must obtain the minimum qualifying grade D in all subjects under Scholastic Domain and Co-Scholastic Domain.
- There would be NO RETEST in any subject.
- If a student is absent he/she would be marked as Ab. And will get a ZERO (0 marks) in the respective subject.
